Dan

Hello All,
Dan made it here safe and sound and we have been having a great time, just lifting, watching movies, lazing around and eating. Jen we will (I promise) get out to see a movie, and Mom and Dad we have been using your money for movies and food thank you so much!

Update

Well things around here have been busy. School is winding down for the students and I have had to get all their winter lifting programs done for the month they have off. I hope they all do something, because they have worked so hard all semester.

Thanksgiving was great I spent it with my boyfriend Dan, but I did miss my family. I will be spending Christmas and the new year here in Bozeman, but Dan will be flying in this Saturday and staying for 3 weeks, Ya! I did not want to brave the 4 passes to get home in who knows what weather and the price of gas! This will be the first Christmas I have not been with my family, it will be hard and I will miss them a lot, but I am glad I have some one here.

Oh great news, I was invited to compete at the Womans World Highland Games Championships in Mesa Arizona. It will be on February 24th (my dads birthday) and so far there are 10 women confirmed to go, one from Canada and one from the UK. I am ranked 6th right now in the US and that is with missing one of the events for ranking athletes. I am very excited to compete at this level and get to throw again. There is also prize money, but what I really want is to win.

Well I hope every one is well and I miss you all. Have a Happy Holidays and I will post some pictures of Christmas and New Years for you.

Here is a video of me lifting Tuesday, I did deadlift standing on 2 inch blocks so I was higher off the ground. It makes it harder. This is 435lbs x1, lifting is going well!

Winter

Well winter is here. We got 8 inches of snow yesterday and another 1-2 inches predicted for today. I am glad I got my snow tires on last week before this hit, but this is the last of it for at least a week. I know there will be a lot more on the way though.

Wisdom Teeth

I got my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday afternoon and some cavities filled. Man did that suck. They were already in so it was just a regular extraction, I did not have to go to sleep, but the sound of my teeth grinding when they pulled them out was a little disturbing.

I also did not get much sleep last night, I was to busy swallowing blood, but I am at work this morning bright and early. I know though I will not talk much today. Which is hard to do when your job entails you coaching. I hope I heal fast!

Kerri!!!!!!!



I had a great time this weekend. My friend Kerri came to town and I finally got to see some of the town I have been living in for over 3 months. We had fun at Octoberfest down town on Friday and then spent Saturday piddling around all the little shops around town. Now that I have seen Bozeman a bit more it confirms that this one of the greatest towns in the US.

Glasses


I got my eyes checked for the first time in my life about 2 weeks ago and the news was I needed glasses. I was just at the legal limit to drive without them in the state on Montana, close. Here is a picture for those of you who have not see me with my glasses yet. I never knew I was so blind, things are so much clearer now, amazing! I love having health insurance it's awesome!

First Snow


It snowed last night and all this morning and we had a football game today at home. We won against Southern Utah University 7-3, to close. That was fun in the snow and we have real grass, imagine all the mud. Oh, this is a picture of Brick Breeden fieldhouse were I work.
